Absolutely Awful. Right from riding a dragon instead of Pushpak Vimaan to showing the Lanka as a dark and gloomy nation, to showing Lankans as some kind of non humans to absolutely awful casting to pathetic soundtrack barring the title track to absolutely no authenticity in the story line, to a dumb version of Ashok Vatika and almost made fun of the Lanka Dahan episode. It's such a bad attempt that it makes one wonder, if making the movie, this bad, was intentional and maybe done in order to launder some money. Or maybe there is any hidden agenda behind making such awful movies, just like Brahmastra which was equally bad, if not more. (Maybe Brahmastra was worse) I mean, I want to understand the creative process for Om Raut and the writers, sit in a room, light up something and just come up with anything at all? I can absolutely bet, that none from this team must have read Valmiki Ramayan or any other version of the Ramayana. Or even watched the Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana. Save your money, time and brain cells and avoid this one.

One of the worst performance by the so called "star" Aamir Khan. This guy is supposed to be one of the best actors of India? He could not conjure a proper accent for the movie? And this is the least he could have done. If you look at Hollywood or even in South India, you would be able to see a gulf in acting. Story wise it is dragged and you would want to step out in the 2nd half of the movie. Utterly disappointed. Go watch Rocketry instead. Tom Hanks would be laughing at the standards of Bollywood film-making.
