I'm a huge halo fan, and honestly just wanted to see halo in live action. The TV series looks like halo, but is written soooooo predictably. The 1st, 5th, and 6th episodes I would consider 4/5 stars. Everything else mediocre at best. Too many character plots that split your focus too much. It's like they are trying to do a game of thrones things with so many important characters to the halo universe. Just most of the characters have yet to give me a good reason to care about them. I know it's the silver time line and that doesn't bother me. The actors are all great. It's the poor writing that really gets me. The show relies heavily on making drama to drive the plot where drama doesn't make sense. With that being said I'm going to keep watching it just because its halo and the armor and fight scenes are cool. I'm glad the costume and cgi departments are on point! I hope season 2 has a better story than what we got here. At the end of the day, I feel unfulfilled after watching episodes of this show
