I feel bad that it didn’t rank much in SK and has a 6/10 rating here. It’s a total injustice. I think people find it too raw, too real and too truthful. Unlike any other cliched stories, handsome chaebol meets street smart beauty or robots or time warps. This is a story between to ordinary people. A cop and a hairdresser bringing all their pains and flaws as a couple, they try to figure out who they are and what they’ve become during a 12 year period, divided in 3 main points in their lives hence the title 3rd charm. Even the side stories were heart warming, the storyline was so well written, the actors were on point that even in silence you get what they mean. Probably people didn’t watch it bec it’s not a feel good fantasy love story. It’s effectively painful drama of lives that we encounter every day encapsulated in a 16 episode series in Netflix. If my ratings matter, I’d give it a 10x3000/10. This one has a special place in my heart. And I hope people would give it a chance. I wish they would write and Show more stories like this so people wouldnt view life and Love as a fantasy with unrealistic expectations.
