The premise has the potential to be very original but the characters are immature and underdeveloped. (Using a vague implication of anorexia as a character trait instead of the biggest issue in the protagonists life is problematic.) The witch is the most interesting character in the book and is still left rather one dimensional and the ending is unresolved and uncharacteristic for the personality that was developed. Good ideas not fully realized
