Ezra Miller is the worst flash and the CGI was WAY too much. Why did he run like he was swimming and why were his steps gliding over a whole mile, what was with the laugh, why is the flash the dumbest character in the DC universe when he's supposed to be brilliant but just crack jokes, and why is he such a punk? Why did they make Batman a villain by selfishly saying that he believed that he fights crime every night for no reason since he could just solve poverty or world hunger? Why bring Aquaman in just to make him look bad? Why did Iris keep going for him despite seeming terrifying? Why were both the flash and Supergirl Hispanic? I'm Puerto Rican and I don't want to see that; we have our own heroes! Don't change the characters we love. This movie was filled with cheap nonsense pandering to wider audiences.
This movie was an absolute mess. The throwbacks were somewhat redeeming but nowhere near enough to make this a decent movie. I understand the nostalgia factor is fun and they do play on a few fun comic storylines but I really don't know what's going on with this new string of superhero movies.
DC needs to step back and try to make their characters noble and powerful rather than a gang of loser misfits. It's not fun. Keep them true to their roots and stop changing dumb aspects. Want something vulgar and Hispanic? Make a new garbage character that nobody will be interested in. If this didn't have the final "twist" appearance and some of the throwbacks with arkham type combat, this could have very easily been my least favorite movie just for having been so campy and awkward.
