Meh, Its really unrealistic. A girl named luckey jumps on a wild horse to go save people from being blown up?!?! She gallops to them when she had never even been on a horse before. The horses understand english….. somehow?!? And season 4 and 8 is weird. In season 4 lucky runs away to go join a circus?!?! And in season 8 she gets kidnapped by bandits?!?! Oh and the bandit keeps trying to kill her. Very very violent. Every season is just weird like in season 5 lucky survives being blown away by a tornado?!?! She didn't even have a scratch. Then after that the get caught in a blizzard. Then she falls into a falls into a frozen lake. And so on its VERY childish. Its a embarrassment to the equestrian community. As in DREAMWORKS did a very bad job. I do suggest the original spirit movie. That one is much better.

BEST. MOVIE. EVER. This one has to be in my top 3 movies. It follows the book very very well. And unlike the other black beauty movies it uses the horses voice like in the book. It makes me feel like I am black beauty. It really shows how horrible people can be to horses. As well as how kind they can be. I remember laughing and crying and smiling the whole movie. Its not childish, though kids love it. Its for all ages. When the movie was done it just filled me up with happiness! It had a very happy and heartfelt ending that I watched over and over. I’ve probably watched it every-other day and it never gets old. The actors did a amazing job. Everything was amazing! I also suggest watching, National velvet, and secretariat both are amazing movies and are the best of the best (you can find national velvet on amazon and secretarial on disney.) Nah its not at all like the book. And parts if it is just plain stupid. Like when she said “no one understands me but you, beauty” is very well weird. Her parents dies (so original thats in a bunch of movies) and she goes to live with her uncle. Shes acts really mean. Then she sees beauty. Beauty understands and now she is the only one that can come near beauty. If anyone else tries to come near she kicks and rears up . then beauty feels bad for her and lets her jump on her back and without training or anything. They gallop into the wind…….. very original. And so on…….. later they get separated and at they end they find each-other again. And the girl becomes the best best best wild mustang breaker ever!!! The end. Don’t buy this its a waste of time and money! Its horrible! As a equestrian (horse person) I can tell you that all of these modern horse movies is so fake and unrealistic. Horses CAN’T be rode unless trained to do so. And horses DO NOT understand english!!! And the whole mustang spirit thing was weird. It said: “My mother once said a mustangs spirit can never be broken. And throughout the whole movie that was what they talked about a LOT.
