This is my definitive favorite Satisho KON’s anime.
The narrative of this story is captivating, full of emotions, humour and beautify supported by the enchanting music from Susumu Hirasawa.
It is extremely poetic, a must watch anime.
It is very sad knowing that Satoshi Kon passed away in 2010 at 46 years old, when he had so many more stories to tell. We will miss him very much.

Romance scenes are ultra boring! I stopped watching MI-2 after 38 minutes.
MI-4, 5 and 6 are far better movies with better scenarios and better balanced between suspense, action and humour.

A sing-along version of Moana, what a great idea, but why are the lyrics in Polynesian languages missing?
This is very disappointing!
The Polynesian culture embedded inside this animation picture is what makes Mona such a great movie.
