30 minutes into the movie I had to come here and find out who this lead 'actress' is that I want to hammer fist in the face repeatedly until her face no longer exists. All she does this entire movie is walk around with her teeth hanging out pulling the stupidest most disgusting face ever like she's constipated and pms raging at the same time. BLACKBALL THIS CHICK!

This is really a bit of a mixed bag for me. The Cenobites are always spectacular, the score/sound effects are delightfully evil and have stood the test of time, being haunting even 30 years later. The visual effects are often impressive while at a few times looking like a low rent Halloween spook house. The expansive labyrynth shot is a delightful structural work of art I must say. "The doctor" is oddly comical with his cheese ball one liners. His "go go gadget" style stop motion appendages are very Beetlejuice reminiscent for me and cheapen the character. I just really dont get what Barker was going for at times and find that off putting and un-immersing in what should be an entrenching journey through the abyss but falls short most the time. In no way is this sequel superior to the original film and I seriously question the credibility and integrity of any self proclaimed horror fan who claims it is.

Criminally underrated flick. It's superb.

This was the most drug out pile of burning tripe I've ever seen. You can shut it off after the 1st half hour.

After many poor offerings over the last 20 years I had given up hope of receiving a fresh revival of the rural Texas legend himself. I am beyond thrilled to say this is the BEST to come out of the franchise since 1990's TXCM3 "Leatherface"! I am overjoyed by how and what this one delivers! Slicing and dicing millenials, odes to Rusty Enright, the return of a key original character, GORE GORE and more! Leatherface is given the time on the saw he has always deserved! From a die hard fan of over 30 years I am giving this offering in the franchise my full support and approval!

Don't expect a traditional storyline from this film, it doesn't apply. Stick with it to the end. It's excellent and very underrated because people suck requiring instant gratification and furthermore aren't very intelligent so they require their films spoonfed to them instead of unraveling slowly and needing a bit of thought and assembly.
