When I finished Breaking Bad, I was expecting a rushed and less enjoyable spin-off in Better Call Saul that I would watch only because of the fact the two shows are in the same universe. However, I was blown away with each episode of BCS. Each episode was calculated in moving along the plot, posing new, attention-grabbing dilemmas, and developing characters and their relationships. I can't help but say I developed a deep connection with the James McGill character, I felt like I could see in his own mind. He was innocent but guilty, amicable but dangerous, loving but greedy, all at the same time. I found myself often unable to predict the next thing, which makes watching all the better. Absolutely blown away from the series, I highly recommend watching it. Props to Gilligan for making two all time greats in one outstanding career.
