Take this review with a grain of salt since I couldn't get through episode 1 but I just couldn't get into it because the acting was so bad. I've seen 1-star reviews talking about how the cast look too young/fashionable/etc so them being genius scientists isn't believable - I think if they acted better then it wouldn't matter what they look like. The dialogue was also super awkward/clunky/forced. That's not how normal people talk, it's not how friends talk, it felt like I was watching a table read where the actors just met for the 1st time. I absolutely hated the bar scene, like was I supposed to like these 2 main characters that trash talk people at the bar doing bar things like sing and drink? Or was I supposed to think they totally owned that guy by saying they know science stuff? I haven't read the book so I can't compare but from what I've heard, I think I might have a better time reading it. Someday I might try to watch the rest...
