Being the mother of an adult daughter who has high-functioning autism, and being a "misfit" myself, this book has been so very insightful and refreshing. I have gone to church my whole life, accepted Christ as my Savior as a teenager, tried to live a godly life, but just never felt like I fit or was "good" enough or did enough. But this book gave me great acceptance and understanding of my daughter as well as myself, and showed me things in the Bible that I was already beginning to see for myself. I am accepted in the Beloved!
