THC is exactly what I’d hoped everything since HCE would have been, PT’s C/C notwithstanding. This new work has no shortage of the better elements from SW’s past oeuvre, as well as many tasty future-forward flavors that are masterfully blended together in a sonically satisfying and relevant offering. Well worth a listen for those new to the genius that is Steven Wilson, and possibly just the ticket necessary to get some of SW’s disenchanted long-time fans fully back on board.
