OK, two questions stand out. Why would all the theoretical physicists sulk off when the experiments go wrong? Why are they not srabbling madly trying to rewrite Einstein et al.
And what reason do the aliens have for coming to an overpopulated, worn out planet? That might be explained later but I got fed up.
