The show wasn’t terrible, I felt so excited to be watching a lesbian vampire show! And on Netflix, I expected it to be super amazing because they had to have had the funds to make it as great as possible. As some have said, the first few episodes pulled you in- but then it fell apart. I was disappointed, truthfully, when Juliet killed the guild member in episode 4 (I think). Because it felt like they contradicted everything she’d said, and they just threw it in there to stop the hallucinations, the feeling sick, etc. They got it over with. The main girls didn’t have the chemistry to me, at all. The kisses were great but they don’t have anything other than lust that bases this. They don’t even get to really KNOW each other, just their family history and that they are different beings/people.
A YA LGBTQ+ romance that felt rushed and sloppy, poor cgi, the fighting scenes, and more. Maybe it’s because I had my expectations so high; but I am disappointed
