I really enjoyed some of Mike Flanagan’s other work (Haunting of Hill House/Bly Manor, and even Midnight Mass wasn’t as horrible as this show). The Midnight Club was very disappointing to watch. The political correctness was so loud all throughout that it almost seemed to take away from the story (a very vast representation of races, sexualities, religions - just too much for a ten-episode series about terminally ill teenagers). The episodes were comprised mostly of stories being told by the teenagers in their “midnight club” and they are just super cringy and barely-horror. My recommendation is just don’t watch it.
