This game is excellent, I love the design they were going for Old SNES (16 bit) graphics with high quality surroundings. The battle system was great, I loved the secret jobs, speaking of the jobs. I really liked how you could give other players, different jobs. Since you only have 4 members in your party at once, you can't have all 8 of them on the field. My favorite character is either Cyrus or Therion. Cyrus was a scholar who had superb magic and had great animations when he casted magic.(Except the other ones, I'm talking about his normal job, scholar) Therion, a cocky thief who destroyed others who got in his way, but also had a backstory about his life, but I will say he lacked combat. But still a great person to start off with, he can steal, so you can get some pretty overpowered stuff at the beginning. I love how you can pick between the 8 characters and not starting off with a main protagonist. The music is excellent, love Battle II OST. It really gets you pumped out in battle, Daughter of the Dark God fits the theme of that boss battle, loved that as well. I loved The Woodlands, Highlands, Clifflands, Flatlands, and Riverlands. Wasn't a fan of the Coastlands and Sunlands. Octopath Travler is a great RPG, I would recommend playing it for those who started to get into RPG. Artwork was great, the layout on the menu and the map was beautiful. One complaint I have is how short the map is, there's a lot of land that could've been places. I like how the characters could interact with each other as well, Cyrus and Therion cracked me up.
