So, I bought this from a bookstore once, and stupidly, I didn't think to actually open it first. So, when I got home, I cracked it open, and it didn't even get to his vice presidency. "Well," I thought, "At least I can buy volume 2 later, right?" Wrong! The author didn't get to writing the other ones, even though this one was written in 1990. So, unless Morris comes out with the other two, this is a glorified paperweight. If you're interested in this part of Nixon's life, read Six Crises instead.
