I wish I could give this movie negative 1000 reviews. Imagine every negative stereotype a conservative has of a liberal, and every negative stereotype a liberal has of a conservative, played off of each other for TWO HOURS. The result is a racist and misogynistic disaster, as well as what I would have considered a brilliant satire of militarism and the lack of options available to the working class - that is, if it had been TRYING to be a satire. Unfortunately, the movie takes itself all too seriously, making it instead a terrifying demonstration of just how willing we Americans are to reduce ideological infighting and political struggles of our day into mindless entertainment sure to keep the pockets of Big Pharma and the U.S. military lined with the money of the working class.
