What a glorious peice of visually stunning garbage. I'm not really sure what Zack Snyder was aiming at with this movie as it a confusing mess of random irrelevent side story arcs that rely too heavily on over the top cinematography to create a feeling of awe out of situations and characters that are meaningless. It borrows too heavily from Dune and Star Wars and the rest is a heavy hodge podge of pop culture sci-fi trope cobbled together to create a story that ultimately no-one really cares about. Add the awful acting by main characters and a reliance on fast pace instead of true story or heart and you've got another submission for the catalogue of forgettable movies that someone spent way too much money on.
