Intriguing yet disappointing. Much of f the central plot revolves around Frances Underwood; his mysterious death, his legacy, his policies and high-powered friends. That’s acceptable for an intro to a new beginning but not for the end of wonderfully engaging series. In Godfather- like fashion, CU (Claire Underwood) severs all loose ends in one fell swoop, begging the viewer’s curiosity, “And now what?”
What about her heir? Who is really the father? Why about Doug Sanford? What about her nemesis/friend Catherine?
Like that box of Godiva chocolates, one is immensely unsatisfying.
