This movie is AMAZING!!! It is the first movie showing the true story of what Palestinians went through during the 1948 Nakba which is when Israel created its state by slaughtering and displacing Palestinian people from their land. This is based on a true story and was nominated for an Oscar. For the first time, the truth is being shown to the world as to how Israel came to existence. It was Palestine before 1948, there was an entire population of Palestinians arabs living on that land and in 1948 it was stolen from them and they were forced out of their land and made as refugees or expulsed in other countries. They were brutally murdered and this is happening yet again in Gaza today, while innocent civilians have been displaced, 2 M people are homeless close to 30 000 innocent civilians have been killed, at least 13 000 of those are children and babies. This entire population is being starved and have been made refugees on their own land. Please take the time to watch this movie to have an idea of what kind of atrocities Palestinians have been going though since 1948 and this hasn't stopped since, the proof even worst is happening in Gaza today and in the illegally occupied West Bank.
