I loved Season 1. Loved the characters and storylines. Season 2 is entirely different. I think I would appreciate it more if I hadn't just finished Season 1 and was eager for more of the same but with different characters, different plot lines, and perhaps different time periods. I have seen three episodes of S2 and while I have loved the star in everything she has done, it drags for me. From a technical standpoint, it has been oddly colored, very desaturated and drab, I guess because it is 1949 and such a dark story? Maybe I just don't care for film noire. S1 was bright and cheery to look at, this makes me want to adjust the TV. I miss the fun of S1. Maybe this will pick up eventually.
