Awful. Krypton super dog in the trailer was a bad sign but this mess of a movie confirms DC did a Batman & Robin, ruining a classic character by creating a confused glossy cartoon that demeans the legacy and franchise. Very little Super displayed and the Hero here spends most of the movie being a victim. Superman isn't even unique in this one and those with superpowers confusingly crowd this flick, even further distracting from Superman's appeal. It feels like a bad 3rd sequel instead of a fresh reboot. Zero chemistry between Clark and Lois (who already knows his identity so any dramatic tensions ir reveal abandoned). Jimmy Olsen just peculiar. If you want to rely on jokes instead of drama, try making them funny. The biggest sin is to corrupt the origin story and subvert the Jesus / Moses parallels intended by its creators who must be furiously spinning in their graves. If you want to see a Superman movie avoid this and watch the first 2 Christopher Reeve ones.

I urge everyone to see this, and tell your friends and family. Important, moving, dramatic and thought provoking. A beautifully made movie.
