I believe that comparisons of Masters of the Air to Band of Brothers and the Pacific are wrong. All three of these series are great in their own individual right. The three different combat theaters are all different than each other with a different emphasis given. If there is a problem with Masters is that only 9 episodes may be way too short to give a more detailed picture of the B17 bomber groups. B17 air campaigns lost many, many aircraft as well as B24's. This ain't our Gregory Peck's or Robert Lansing's Twelve O'clock High, where they might lose a bomber or two in an episode, that is certain!
