I was super excited to read this book because of how many great reviews it's received. I barely finished a third of the book and stopped.
Not that it's necessary a "bad" book, but the main reason I read self-help books is to stimulate my mind and be able to think about concepts/ideas from a different perspective.
King's writing is simply non-stimulating and basic. He talks about ideas that everyone has already heard before and the contents of his book gives me the vibe of someone who just googled "Top 10 ways to be happier". Very rudimentary.
I think this book would be great for a younger audience, perhaps someone in high school. But if you are looking for a book to expand your mind and actually learn something about yourself, this book is not it.
