Salays Begum

I was hoping this would be a gripping film but really I had to fast forward some of the scenes, so boring! Kareena can be a good actress, in this film she says more when she doesn't talk! I found her character interesting but it was an average film. The events were not developed enough, different elements scattered in it, even though the ending has a interesting twist to it. They got some good actors in the other roles but it can't save this film. Also the UK judicial system was not portrayed accurately neither were the police which included putting her back to work when she was grieving, was not true to form. If you do a film in the UK do your research!! Honestly if you have nothing better to do then you can watch it otherwise steer clear.

Really beautifully depicted story, the characters are so real and their journey through the film is both inspiring and educational. It's so refreshing to watch new actors and not just some overly plastic hero/ heroines who can't act for peanuts and is only in the film for action and glamour purposes. Loved all the characters especially the police inspector. Definitely 5/5
