Clive Dickinson

A beautifully written story. The heroine is so human. The description of the times is so real. The humanity of the protagonists and the pain and joy of the events as life unfolds in Oxford at the turn of the century. You cannot read it without feeling it. I am a great fan of Dickens because he made the 19th century come to life. Pip Williams does a similar job.
