I thought this anime was very cute at first, but I could not really get into it without skipping through pieces which then turned into full episodes. It was too slow-paced for me and the lead Sawako was too naive being for my liking. She did not have a strong bone in her body when she needed it most. Only time I could truly sit through it was when there was the rivalry, but there was also too many slow-mo scenes/inner monologue that killed me, it's like get on with it already lol. Other than that, it was cute and refreshing I guess. I can't sit through it again though.

I disliked the movie sadly, I didn't get any background info on the prince or ella. Then there were so many songs and reprises that didn't really move the plot along at all. I thought there was too much of a modern twist added that completely blinded me of the actual story. The best part was probably Billy's transformation.
