Shelley Draper-Luchini

I grew up watching Raymond Burr as Perry Mason and went into the HBO premier not knowing what to expect. The first episode introduced me to a Perry Mason with the beginnings of great back story development. The writing and acting are superb. The casting, production and attention to detail are spot on. Every episode gets us closer to knowing more about those characters we first met in the 1950’s on a formatted television show. HBO brings life to those characters and every episode has a sweet twist. Episode 5 introduced us the ‘attorney’ Perry Mason but it was pure delight how they introduced us to Hamilton Burger. Can’t wait for Episode 6.
