The scene where it’s a Scotsman and not the Kaiser funded Lenin’s return to Russia (and reunification with the escaped convict Stalin) with millions of marks in German gold to fund a revolution, is extremely offensive. The Scott’s are emotionally cold and brutal tacticians in romantic relationships from my limited experience but ffs, even fictional characterization of a Scott taking part in this significant historical act of interventionism is an outrageous attempt to obscure history.
