expected to be disappointed by cheap sci-fi gags but was refreshing flick satirizing the banality of Western culture and Hong Chau's character blows it away, the contrast of Western self-pitying consumerism with the no nonesense pragmatism of someone whose actually lived hardships really cements this film to be a timeless classic also love the negative reviews of elitists media critics, it's like spice added to the depth and flavor of the film's message which will be over the heads of shallow content gatekeepers
