I had to stop it with 26 minutes to go. So gloomy and depressing. Collin Farrell is amazing in this movie. I could not look at his pain anymore and the goat? That was it for me. Just one horrible moment after the other. So many losses. Beatings. Chopped off fingers. Sister leaves. Dominic drowns. The donkey. Just so sad. I failed to see any comedy except for a few lines here and there. But those few minutes do not lighten the deep despair.
