Absolutely amazing. To me, this movie isn't about the fashion industry as much as it is about how work engulfs and consumes some folks. The start is simple. You work for someone or a company you idolize. The hours are crazy but you justify it. You think they are needed and it's not going to stay the same always. You just need to get to point X, and it will get much better from there.
Twenty years later, you are working crazy still every day, your personal life is in jitters, and all your life is about work. It's too late now.
On the outside, everyone finds the arrangement ridiculous. Why would you want to work like a slave, when there are much better options? On the inside, the person has convinced themselves they're making a difference and working crazy is still amounting to something or maybe you're waiting for your big break.
Some industries prey on career ambitions. What do you do? Stay or leave before it gets too late?
