I first watched this when I rented it out on video, back in the late 80's, but I paid no attention to the title. However, I do remember that Attack... is a combination of anime cartoon (characters), stop motion( the Dinosaurs being clay figures) and puppetry (the vehicles being models ie Thunderbirds). Compiled of the first four episodes, out of the 39 of the total series, into a video film in the United States, 1982. A unique series for it's time, made in the late 70's, as nothing before was ever done, not that I know of. Recommended for those who looking for old and entertaining, retro, viewing.

I watched the first two episodes on youtube back in 2019, while I was wanting to watch something different. And "different" is mildly putting it. After that, both my attention and interest were to acquire the anime boxset not long later. Then I began to get and read the manga, which I still am reading. Rememberable characters, classic John Woo gunplay action, and music intro.

Odin: Photon Sailer Starlight was among the first anime, manga as the genre was called back then before being corrected, titles to be released in the UK in 1991 - 1994 time period; along with Akira, Project A-KO, Fist of the North Star, Vampire Hunter D, Dominion Tank Police (Acts 1-2 & 3-4). And was simply called "Odin". The "Odin" time run was approximately 90 mins, while being in English, as were the original was a bit over 2 hours, Japanese and has the rock group used at the end credits. I watched it on the Sci-Fi channel back in the late 90's, had cable tv, then got a second hand video copy 2-3 years later. It is slow but if you persevere, and like retro anime, then it's entertaining. Give it a go.
