Godzilla Minus One, hallmarks the 70th anniversary of the franchise; Something I didn't realize. The movie stars a young man struggling to come to terms with his choices and the reporcussions after the climax of WWII. The emergence of a local monster based in local folklore doesn't help much either.
I counted 5 times my jaw dropped during the viewing, there are a nods to the original 1954 film and it's American counterpart. If you are expecting an update on the original film, you won't find it here.
