The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros. I would recommend it for all from ages 1 to 100 pretty cool book . With the setting being in a low income part of Chicago. Esperanza and her 2 brothers Carlos, Nikki and sister Nenny, moved to mango street after the pipes broke in their previous apartment and landlord refused to fix them. One of my favorite chapters was Bums in the Attic.it shows the imagination of the main character. One of the quotes that I liked I am a red balloon a balloon tied to an anchor. I can relate to that feeling at times because I wanna be free but I feel I am held down by my age. In conclusion I feel people my age should read this book it is very interesting and it made me think about my life and how I appreciate it.
