It's not bad, but it's also not good and kind of dumb. Its get one star because if this is where the DC Universe is going its a huge letdown. It reminds me of Schumacher's Bat Man. Glad I watched it a friend's house. If I had paid to see it I would've wanted a refund.

Only two episodes in so I don't want to judge yet. Plenty of time for thigs to go bad. However so far it has my attention and I've enjoyed what I've seen. Thus far feel like an 8hr Xenomorph movie which I am game for. Also the 2nd episode going out to Stinkfust by Tool was amazballs. Don't listen to the hate. Judge for yourself.

Zero stars. This is one of the dumbest movies I have ever seen. The CGI, VFX, and post work are great. The acting and directing were great. Every part of the story is pure, 100%, grade A garbage filled bull. The Fast and Furious movies are more believable than this pile. Even when they went to effing space. I should've watched Dawson's Creek instead. I could've made a better Jurassic Park film with a pile of ketchup and plate of dino nuggies. I would rather drink broken glass than ever watch this again. Seriously. Skip it. Even if you hate yourself. -600000000000 out of 10 Might be worse than Manos:The Hands of Fate and Im easy to please.

I gave it five. Mainly because just about that point where modern movies tend to just shiiiiiii um, crap the bed this one doesn't. In all reality its a weak four, super strong 3. But gets a full five from me for not screwing it up like so many do these days. I want in expecting it to out right flop, but it was decent. Genuinely made me laugh. There are far, far, far, far, far, worse things you watch. Like Titanic, or Game of Thrones.

I went in blind never having seen the original. Thought that would be an advantage. It wasn't. This movie is stupid. Not just another bad adaptation. It's objectively a bad movie. Cartoon writing does not work for live action and they still haven't figured that out. Just another waste of money. The actors were good. That's it.

Objectively it's a bad movie because it has an identity crisis. They tried to copy the animated movie so hard that it made the whole thing awkward. It makes the movie feel like it can't figure out if it's a cartoon or a live action film. What's even more insane is that I had to say that about a movie, that's about a guy, who figures out how to train dragons. There are points in time when telling a story where you make different decisions based on the medium. If it's animation you push the pose, and worry about things like stretch and squash. If it's live action you something else. This movie wants to be a cartoon so hard it got the tattoo, and sneaks out at night to hang out with cartoons and do cartoon things. I applaud them for trying to stay true to the OG, but somethings still have to be different for the sake of native. Overall its not bad, but it gets only one star for making rookie mistakes you would expect from a low budget kids show. Just watch the original. Its a better experience all around. Ps. While the CGI is decent. There are some glaring VFX issues like bad comp work.

TL;DR - Is it Andor? No. Is it the worst thing ever? Far from it. I skipped this show because of the reviews, but after so many of the same people started talking badly about Andor I decided to give it a shot. So, I lied. The over all rating is correct. Its a 3, and a solid one at that. Over all it wasnt bad. It wasn't amzing, but it wasn't bad. I am sick to the teeth of the Skywalker saga. However they did a good job, at telling a serviceable story, and leaving me wanting more. I look forward to season 2. As usual the fanbois are too attached to an idea to put their bias aside and judge a story on its own merits. Are all the 5 star reviews correct? No, but neither are the 1 stars.
