I'm having to do a project for my art class, using text to make into a picture. I could use sound lyrics, and I'm having such a hard time picking lyrics from any song in this album. Each song paints a picture, and each is perfectly clear if you listen to the lyrics and feel what Tyler is singing. The beat of each song can send you in the type of mood that the song wants you to feel. Like you have Legend which is written about Tyler's grandfather, the song sounds happy and like a celebration of the life he had, the ending of Legend actually made me tear up. Then we have Leave the City which is dark and clearly a picture of him being done with something. Life or his insecurities I'm not sure but I'm glad because now I can listen more and figure it out. This album has definitely deserved all the good ratings it gets. Please if you haven't given the album a listen, do you won't regret it. |-/
