I'm loving this show! The actress Aurelia who plays Jeanette is captivating! Actress Holt who plays Katie is wonderful too! I enjoy how the writers weave 3 different summers through each episode. I find that I enjoy Jeanette's storyline the most because of the complexity of her character. Jeanette breaks into a house and when she's confronted by Martin, the owner of the home, Jeanette suddenly realizes she's a sharp liar who can easily mislead people. Yet, the question arises, does this make her the 'worst person in the world' or just a normal teenager who's gets thrills from rebellion? Kate's story line is also fascinating because there's a bizarre underlying resentment from everyone who knows her but it's not because Kate is a bad person. In fact, it's the opposite, it seems people resent her because she's a good person who just happens to live a sheltered-privileged life. As the show unfolds, I find myself unsure of who's telling the truth and who's lying and why. Great writing!
