Jodie Whittaker is excellent in the role. The companions are great too. The stories are a little preachy but I don't see that as a problem. This is early evening family viewing! The early series were deliberately educational as well as entertaining. Keep it up!

Good straightforward thriller with solid performances from everyone.

Was great when based on the novels and I understand the reasoning behind the decision to write an independent script . Sadly, the current and final series borders on farcical . Warleggan hallucinating that his wife is still alive is the most ludicrous element of the mental illness running through at least 3 storylines. Not sure I'm going to bother with the remaining episodes Pity!

The first time I've got to the end of a Poliakev story! Excellent performances, especially from Toby Stephens. I found the ending slightly unsatisfactory though. Hard to believe that life was going to return to normal for everyone. Series 2 in the offing?

Promising start despite minor differences between it and the book. Sadly it got further off course as it went along and Episode 3 was a ridiculous travesty and unforgivably boring Shame as the performances were good, especially Demelza!
