Kiernan seems to me to have a similar style of writing in the book as did The Boys in the Boat which I enjoyed tremendously.

If you enjoy a book in which good overcomes after a trying circumstance, this is the book for you. The audio version was well portrayed. I find Lisa Wingate a very inspiring author.
