Before I start, I'd like to say that I do like most of the actors in this film. Unfortunately I found the film very lacking. They escape london, and go towards nice house house in the countryside. All is well until the mom dies, after that the film goes down hill. They've got safe shelter, with an open fire, so they're sheltered and have the means to keep warm and cook. They have a rifle for hunting, and as such there would be ammunition. , its already shown that there are rabbits. Yes rabbit isn't long term nourishing, but they won't starve while they sort out other food sources, there's always cattle, pheasants etc and fish. But no they moved because her husband had the mentality of a teen, instead of looking after his family. So he dumps them at an army protected facility. Who upon being raided, all the soldiers disappear. They were fighting back, you might say. Obviously not well,who were they army cadets. As all the intruders had taken they're weapons. Having been in the forces that doesn't make sense. So she goes to a safe commune were she eventually leaves because she wants to go home and hopefully find her useless husband. So she takes a young baby, out into nowhere, with no food or shelter, little supplies. As mush as it shows she loves the child, there is no common sense being shown. Sorry if this seems like a rant, but this film was badly researched, and made no sense.
