I'm halfway through this book so my review may change once I finish. Honestly it's a lot. By the 4th book in the series everything you can think of happens. Attacked over and over and over again? Check. Fake mates? Check. The main character still learning her power and only being able to wield it sometimes? Check. The most powerful fae keep losing to the villain every chance they can? Check. It's kind of exhausting waiting so long for everyone to get their act together. It's exhausting reading about whiny princes who feel like they "ArEn'T gOoD eNoUgH". I like the characters for the most part even when it gets annoying to read about their same struggle over and over again. Theres a lot of sex. I started skipping the sex scenes because I don't care at this point. I just want the story to finally come together, for all the mates to come together, and to finally see the main character be a bad ass instead of barely contributing to the fight.
