The movie depicted domestic violence and the horror that occurs through generations. It’s a small glimpse in this movie, but in my opinion it got the point across.

I read the Yellow Wife and an exceptional book. This book was filled with love, joy, hurt, anger, and so many emotions. I cheered for both characters, Ruby and Eleanor. The strength was exceptional and described with clear and thoughtful writing. Sadeqa Jonhson is a wonderful story teller!

I read Sooley with knowledge of basketball, but not to the degree of John Grisham’s writing. Also, the true sadness of the Sooley’s family, country, and circumstances. There are many levels of joy, kindness, and love in this book. I loved every word!!

Unfortunately, Nurses do not compliment this amazing profession. It is inaccurate; orientation is paramount in patient and nurse safety, and wasn’t depicted in the show. And from the beginning of the tv show, there is a spiral downhill.
