Well, it feels like this is a distortion of Spanish cultural and evil monarchy. Great Disney... let's make the Spanish Royalty hated in the world cause this is obviously located in their kingdom. Music for a Disney production was way below the standard. The storyline was boring. Middle age period did not have interracial relationships so historically incorrect and distorted. The young interracial girl bringing chaos to an established nation, instead of immigrating to another country of choice and free will, it must be better to bring rebellion and chaos. I am so tired of the villains being white. This young interracial girl character reminds me of the current Duchess of drama. How can someone be connected to the Stars since stars are gases. Illogical and does not make sense. Great to know that stealing was justified a great Disney value. Oh dear, what has happened to Disney animation. I would not recommend this animation to anyone, it was a waste of time.

The only redeeming quality of this television show was the great Ms Kim Cattrall. The writers' stole from the Ugly Betty script... and can one really call it 'acting' gay when one is basically being themselves on the reel? The whole cast was not lovable or enduring. They promoted a lot of the negative stereotypes that my community has been fighting since the 80s and 90s when hate crimes was high against the community. Disappointed.

Of course Disney ruins another classic. The original tell the little mermaid is from Hans Christian Andersen, which does not have a happy ending. The lesson from the original tale is sometimes you love something, but the love is not reciprocated. At times the greater love is to let go of something that you cannot have and make a personal sacrifice. I have always liked the original tale over the Disney version whether animation or real people.
