This movie is incredible. Anyone who has negative things to say about this movie surely must not be human. I've seen this movie twice and trust me, both times I cried. I love that Chrissy Metz is in the movie and she plays the mother. She was incredible. Also I am so glad that I got introduced to Marcel Ruiz, he is an amazing upcoming celebrity, and my new celebrity crush... This movie is an emotional roller-coaster and I am glad that the true story can come from the pages of a book onto the big screen. When this movie is cheaper than it is now I will definitely buy it at Wal-Mart.
I also like the fact that John was adopted because as someone who was adopted as a baby as well I truly understand not wanting to meet my birth parents because surely if they put me up for adoption they didn't want me. I resonate with John's feelings of abandonment and I have a relationship like his with my mother (before he fell in the ice). I wish I could see through John's eyes (when he wakes up from the coma) and see my mom and friends as people who love me for who I am and I wish I could appreciate them like so.
