Dr Ding

The greatest kids' show ever. As a parent who has seen every Nick Jr. show under the sun, Oobi is such a breath of fresh air. I was far past the target demographic when it came out, but I enjoyed Noggin as a channel so I'd watch it often. It was adorable and calming, and my then preschool-aged niece loved it. It was a show we BOTH enjoyed. Uma is still her favorite TV character, and although I also love Grampu, I have to say Uma has won me over as MY favorite too. She is so darn funny, and relatable to anyone who's ever been a super dramatic little kid. Uma is such a sweet character too- she idolizes her brother, and she misses him so much in one episode that it made me cry the first time I watched it. Definitely the scene-stealer of the show. I still can't believe the actors got so much emotion and heart out of two-word sentences. Major props to Oobi.
