There is no way people out here comparing eldian ring with god of war ragnarok because ragnarok is far better in every aspects of gaming for example story, combat, graphics, character development, side characters, and antagonist. On the other hand eldian ring is just an remake of dark souls with no story no graphics no character development no pure antagonist just better roming area and the memories i have with god of war since 2005 all that series god of war 1, god of war 2, God of war 3, god of war ascension, chains of olympus, god of war 2018, god of war ragnarok i feel like somehow i am connected with the chracters in the game specially kratos the way he loses everything his wife and daughter for greed his brother with the hands of thanatos his mother with his own hands unknowingly then he goes out seeking revenge for the misery and ends up killing his father but after all that chaos he did not find that satisfaction instead he understand that this does not worth it and then he lets it all go by committing suicide just to find out that he can't die he can't escape his misery later he found another reason to live and that reason was his wife faye then he loses her too and now he is living for atreus and for justice he finally found peace and understands the true meaning of happiness it comes from serving others and in return he is getting all that love which he never imagined there is so many epic moments in the game for ex developing relationship with atreus dwarfs freya Jormungandr and other creatures and gods from diffrent realms ( we can see in the end of the game kratos saw a mural in which people worshipping him that was the most amazing moment i really love this game i have never seen a chracter development and a story like this in any other game Goty For sure ❤ 💙 💜
