As a story teller, I honestly would have to say that a sequel to any film should compliment the first film. "Coming to America" is considered a wholesome film of comedy in the black community. The sequel "Coming 2 America" basically washes away the wholesome essence by now saying that Prince Akeem managed to not only get with a side piece, but He made a baby as well. That basically says that He never succeeded in accomplishing what He exactly came to America in the first place, which was to find His Queen.
