I am so tired of people giving good psychological Indian movies bad reviews. Yes, first, at the beginning, it’s very hard to tell who’s telling the truth and it can be confusing but that’s supposed to be the whole purpose of the movie. At one point you have to choose a “truth” to stick with and it’s only until the end that you think you have the “truth”, because you’re left asking yourself if Gul was always mentally unstable and took a deal to save himself, or if the grave situation he found himself in actually messed with his mind that badly as it probably would if anyone else was in that position. However, this movie is really really good. It almost made me cry because it seems like something that is probable in todays society. The truth is a truth depending on who has the power in a given situation. Amazing movie! Highly recommend and watch with an open mind.
